Coaching Requirements by Program
All NCW United coaches meet the minimum standards set by US Club Soccer and the Washington Premier League (WPL). These requirements ensure a safe, development-focused environment for every player.

- SafeSport Certification
- Introduction to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments
- Adverse Eligibility List Review
- USSF Introduction to Grassroots Coaching License
- Club Orientation and Age-Specific Guidelines
- Adherence to NCW United’s Code of Conduct
Recreational coaches are often parents, volunteers, or new leaders stepping into the game. We provide clear expectations, onboarding materials, and structured support to help them succeed.
